Rabbi Karen Thomashow

Rabbi Karen Thomashow is the Associate Rabbi at Isaac M. Wise Temple in Cincinnati, OH, a position she has held since 2013. Before joining Isaac M. Wise Temple, Rabbi Thomashow served for six years as Associate Rabbi of Holy Blossom Temple in Toronto, Canada. Rabbi Thomashow earned her rabbinic ordination at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in Cincinnati in 2007 where she wrote her thesis entitled, “A Lily and an Apple: A History of Jewish Interpretation to the Song of Songs.” Rabbi Thomashow also serves as the Rabbinic Co-Chair of the Reform Movement’s Brit Milah Board of North America and the President of the Greater Cincinnati Board of Rabbis.
