Learn how Be’er Sheva is at the forefront of JNF’s Blueprint Negev major initiative to revitalize Southern Israel and bring 500,000 new residents to the Negev. We will also welcome our new Central NJ President, Alyssa Russo.

Mayor Ruvik Danilovich

Ruvik Danilovich is Mayor of Be’er Sheva, Israel’s fastest growing city and often referred to as the “capital of the Negev.” Born, raised, and educated in Be’er Sheva, Danilovich’s leadership and strategic planning has boosted local investment, transforming the city into a high-tech hub and cyber leader, resulting in increased employment and better funding for education, entertainment, environmental quality, the arts, and tourism.

Alyssa Russo

Alyssa Russo’s deep passion for Israel is fulfilled through her work with Jewish National Fund, where together with her husband, Orazio, they are members of the President’s Society and Century Council. Alyssa is proud to be a Circle of Sapphire. She has served on both the Las Vegas and Central NJ Boards, and helped develop the Breakfast for Israel. A successful real estate agent and mother of four, Alyssa will bring her creativity and leadership to her new role as Central NJ President and help JNF continue its mission to ensure a secure and prosperous Israel.
