Mark Spitz

Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist

Mark Spitz is an American former competitive swimmer and nine time Olympic champion who won seven gold medals at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Over his career, he has won a total of 11 Olympic medals: Nine gold, one silver, and one bronze. Spitz was also named World Swimmer of the Year in 1969, 1971, and 1972.


Tal Brody

"Mr. Basketball"

Tal Brody, nicknamed “Mr. Basketball,” is an American-Israeli former professional basketball player and current Goodwill Ambassador of Israel. He played on national basketball teams of both the United States and Israel and served in the armies of both countries. Brody’s famous remark upon beating the Soviets: “We are on the map! And we are staying on the map – not only in sports, but in everything,” has become a part of Israeli culture.
