Women for Israel Presents: Pioneering a New Frontier in the Arava: The Triumph of the Human Spirit
Tuesday July 07, 2020
About Our Event
Located in the Negev Desert, the Arava is a beautiful region known for its peaceful life and closeness to nature. Jewish National Fund’s Blueprint Negev campaign aims to bring 500,000 new people to the Negev through its One Billion Dollar Roadmap for the Next Decade campaign, and the development of the Arava is critical to this plan’s success. Join us for an engaging and fascinating conversation about the story of the Arava and how modern pioneering has strengthened its inhabitants’ connections to the land and community.
Director of Resource Development, Arava Regional Council
Noa Zer partners closely with Jewish National Fund to sustain and develop Israel’s arid desert region along the Jordanian border. A sabra (native Israeli), Noa lives in Moshav Paran with her husband — a second-generation pepper farmer — and three children.
