Join Jewish National Fund and Hillel Stetson University for an online Positively Israel program to connect with college students in Hillel around Florida and hear from Israeli advocate Hen Mazzig about intersectionality, queer Israeli Jews of color, Zionism, and being “politically homeless”. Hen Mazzig

Writer, International Speaker, and Social Media Activist

Hen Mazzig served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for almost five years as an openly gay commander and was the Campus Coordinator for a pro-Israel campus group in the Pacific Northwest, during which time he fought countless Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) resolutions on college campuses and led the Israel Education Department for a pro-Israel advocacy organization. Hen volunteered as the head of the Transgender and Health department at the National Israeli LGBTQ Task Force "The Nir Kates Center" in Tel Aviv. Today he is working as a Senior Fellow at the Tel Aviv Institute.
