This week on IsraelCast, host Steven Shalowitz interviews New York Times op-ed columnist and long-time Jewish National Fund contributor, Bret Stephens. Bret reminisces about when he received a handwritten apology from former Israeli Prime Minister, Shimon Peres and its significance. Throughout the discussion, Bret answers the tough questions: Anti-Semitism vs. Anti-Zionism? Social Media vs. Mental Health? Thin Crust vs. Deep Dish?

In addition to being a long time Jewish National Fund donor, Bret Stephens is an op-ed columnist for the New York Times and a Senior Political Analyst on CNBC. Previously, he was a columnist and senior editor at the Wall Street Journal, and the Editor-in-Chief at The Jerusalem Post. In 2013, he won the Pulitzer Prize for Distinguished Commentary in his reported stories from around the globe. Bret has interviewed dozens of world leaders, including every Israeli Prime Minister since Shimon Peres. In 2014, he wrote a book titled "America in Retreat: The New Isolationism and the Coming Global Disorder".
