During his tenure as the Chief Innovation Officer for the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, Regenbaum founded the Israeli Air Force’s first tech accelerator, participated in hackathons, and helped bring the IDF’s culture of innovation to the next level. Born in South Africa, Regenbaum has lived in Israel for 5 years and served 3 years in the Israeli Defense Forces. Currently the Managing Director of Siftech, the startup program at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Regenbaum also served as the Chief Innovation Officer of the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the Co-Founder of the Israeli Air Force Accelerator, and the Founder of the Israel VC and Innovation Discussion Forum.
