Rabbi Dov Lipman was elected to the Knesset in January 2013, the first American-born MK in 30 years. He holds rabbinic ordination from Ner Israel Rabbinical College and a Master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins University. Former MK Lipman moved to Israel with his family through Jewish National Fund partner Nefesh B’Nefesh in 2004 and is the author of seven books about Judaism and Israel. He is a sought-after lecturer about Israel and a columnist for the Jerusalem Post and Times of Israel.
